Peer-reviewing policy
We aim to adhere to the highest standards and this rule applies also to our peer-reviewing policy. Our reviewers are specialists within their fields of professional interests. Many of them are academic staff, including professors and post-doctoral researchers of Polish and foreign academic units, as well as researchers and experienced professionals.
Your paper is going to be reviewed by at least two of our reviewers. The reviewing process is double-blind, which means that you will not know who reviews your paper and the reviewers will not know your identity.
They are required to fill a form in which they include:their opinion on whether they recommend the paper to be published or not together with their reasons, general comments, minor corrections, if any, and feedback on how to improve the paper.
We qualify papers for publication on the basis of positive feedback from the reviewers We might ask authors to correct their work according to the reviewers’ suggestions within a certain time-frame. Should that happen, authors will be required to consider any suggestions and reflect them in the final version of their paper bearing in mind the deadline set by the team responsible for publishing ICAR.
